Minimum Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate leads using self-acquired sources, as well as use all assets and resources available.
  • Set up face-to-face and phone meetings with media/marketing decision makers
  • Create marketing solutions that are mutually beneficial for the client and KSE Radio
  • Closing business and executing the client campaign as agreed upon.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with advertising partners and clients, that leads to recurring revenue
  • Strategically constructs proposals/contracts within selling guidelines.
  • Communicating ongoing contact/sales activities to sales management team
  • Achieving individual quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

Minimum Position Qualifications

  • Must have a proven track record of exceeding goals in sales with the ability to develop new business.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years sales experience required – preferably in online advertising, direct marketing, sports sponsorship or other local media but will consider all sales backgrounds
  • Must have the ability to develop creative campaigns focused on meeting client needs
  • Strategic thinker with proven consulting and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability sell at all decision-making levels.
  • Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations.
  • Flexible, and able to quickly adapt to new situations with positive attitude and a great sense of humor
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with an acute attention to detail.
  • Media sales experience and knowledge of market demographics is a plus.

JOB OVERVIEW

KSE Radio Ventures, LLC is looking for energetic, well-spoken, outgoing individuals to join the KSE Radio Street Team. Team members will be the face of all four KSE Radio brands; MIX 100 FM, KOOL 105 FM, 92.5 The WOLF FM and Altitude Sports Radio 950 AM. Street Teamer will interact with fans and visitors, give away prizes, take photographs and occasionally video, promote various contests or aspects of the stations, and generally reach out to each brand’s audience in a positive, memorable way.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be a social, outgoing, high-energy individual who is enthusiastic about promotions and marketing
  • Must have a flexible schedule and is able to work days, nights and weekends
  • Must be a great communicator and able to demonstrate/educate individuals with our brands, apps or any promotions that we might have going on at the time
  • Someone who is a self-motivator and is willing to approach clients, listeners, etc. and feels comfortable interacting with them is a must
  • Willing to work outdoors in any condition.
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee could also be required to stand, walk or sit for a longer period of time. The employee will also be asked to lift and/or move items up to 50+ pounds, including setting up a 10’x10’ tent.

JOB OVERVIEW

The digital media coordinator assists the cluster with managing, updating and facilitating content across their various digital platforms (Websites, Social, Apps, E-blasts, text-clubs, etc…) as well as tracking & reporting analytics associated with those platforms. The DMC assists the Director or Marketing and station Program Directors in all departmental efforts including:

  • Organizing and sending email marketing campaigns.
  • Creating/monitoring/reporting social campaigns.
  • Creating, scheduling and delivering banner ads and reporting their metrics for station clients. (Primarily using Google DFP)
  • Updating & Creating web pages to assist stations or promotions.
  • Creating Web forms with Submission databases and reporting submission status.
  • Designing print and/or digital assets (knowledge of large scale printing methods is a plus)

This position assists the Promotions team with complimenting print & digital assets, by creating and overseeing the development of webpages and web assets as well as with on-site help in the form of working booths and/or taking press photos.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative process in graphic design & web design and the uploading of content to websites.
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Marketing and each stations Program Directors to design and create digital sales and promotional assets.
  • Assist in the creation, editing and distribution of weekly email blasts; Traffic emails.
  • Lead the creation of web ads, and print ads for clients and station promotions/events.
  • Manage the scheduling, rotation and delivery of online banner ads and pre-roll streaming ads.
  • Manage the overall design and structure of each station websites including the creation of pages, posts, and media on each station’s website.
  • Lead the design of web pages for station contests including web forms that help track submissions into sharable databases.
  • Works with sales team to create stand out marketing pieces for clients.
  • Facilitate the completion of sales campaigns and projects from a digital standpoint.
  • Manage and track station website analytics and provide analytic packages for sales team to assist and client proposals.
  • Assist the promotions team with creative collateral and by working on-site at remote events in the forms of overseeing a booth and/or taking press photos.

Job Qualifications:

  • Extensive working knowledge of Photoshop, HTML/CSS Content Management Systems, Social Networking and Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator, JavaScript and video editing software -preferred.
  • Experience working with Google DFP and handling the scheduling, rotation and delivery of web banners.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and providing analytic breakdowns.
  • Experience designing content suited both digital and print based needs.
  • Basic understanding of video editing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with mobile applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with an acute attention to detail.

Education / Formal Training:

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in graphic design and marketing, with a focus on online marketing.
  • Previous experience with producing blog material and writing copy.
  • Material & Equipment Used: Adobe Suite, DFP, Umbraco, WordPress, Excel, Others

KSE Radio Ventures, LLC, located in Denver, Colorado, needs a motivated, results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our local sales department. Qualified candidates should have current or former radio sales management experience, preferably working for a sports radio station. KSE Radio Ventures, LLC owns and operates three FM stations (Hot AC, Classic Hits, and Country) and one AM sports station. Primary responsibilities include training and leading the sales team to achieve broadcast, digital, and sports budgets and outpace the market.

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Manages a team of local account executives
  • Oversees sales activities and processes that increase current business and develop new relationships
  • Goes on sales calls and conducts in-field coaching to develop account executives’ skills
  • Recruits and hires potential account executives and implements ongoing training
  • Creates and develops sales collateral and presentations
  • Works with programming and promotions departments to best achieve revenue, visibility, and increased ratings
  • Develops and implements new sales initiatives and strategies
  • Prepares budgets and revenue forecasts
  • Oversees advertising inventory of one or more radio stations

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or business

JOB OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance and repair of broadcast radio equipment and Broadcast IT computer and data network assets in the in collaboration with the director of engineering and station staff.

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Have full understanding of technical facilities, complex broadcast production equipment systems as well as computer and data network assets in the Broadcast production environment
  • Ability to rapidly diagnose problems, and provide alternative solutions if needed to maintain production deadlines.
  • Ability to comprehend complex concepts and workflows
  • Participate and contribute to the design, development and deployment of complex broadcast production equipment systems as well as computer and data network assets in the Broadcast Engineering environment
  • Participate and contribute to the training of staff radio operators, promotions staff and air talent in the operation of studio and remote broadcast equipment and systems
  • Occasional direct execution or participation in major or high-visibility remote broadcasts and/or promotions.
  • The employee must be able to work evening, weekend and/or overnight as needed to accommodate projects, facility availability, and emergency service.
  • The employee, along with the Director of Engineering will be on 24-hour call and will serve as the standby when the Director of Engineering is unavailable

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong technical experience with radio broadcast equipment.
  • Understanding of customary equipment, design, documentation and integration of radio broadcast systems.
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation for Radio.
  • Knowledge of Harris (GatesAir) Vistamax routing and mixing systems.
  • Knowledge of Telos Axia / Vx Audio over IP and telephone systems.
  • Familiarity with the Wheatnet Audio over IP Routing and mixing systems.
  • Knowledge of essential broadcast IT concepts including (but not limited to); Microsoft client and server operating systems, IPV4 (IPV6 a plus), SAN/NAS systems, Broadcast IT architecture, system wiring and network performance analysis.
  • Awareness of, (if not proficiency with) Cisco networking, firewall and IP Switches.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio or other technical concept and documentation applications.
  • Knowledge of Burk Arc+ and Arc 16 facilities control and monitoring systems
  • Experience maintaining and supporting AM and FM transmission systems.  Directional
  • AM transmission and FM master antenna environment experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to express complex concepts verbally and in written documentation
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and motivation
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of technology and industry trends
  • Work in a 4-station AM & FM radio broadcast facility with a shared studio complex and 5 transmission locations supporting music, talk, & network-based radio products.
  • Ability to perform functions under tight time constraints is critical to this position.  Will be coordinating efforts with the Director of Engineering, with a corporate-level IT support staff and technical personnel from/with other allied and co-owned businesses.
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Education or Formal Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Communications, Broadcasting or Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
  • SBE certification preferred as a Certified Radio Broadcast Engineer (CBRE) and Certified Broadcast Networking Technologist (CBNT).
Experience:
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience utilizing the aforementioned skill set in day-to-day support of a radio broadcast facility. Primary focus during this work experience should have been operating and supporting a varied array of radio products.
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
  • Stand up to 1/3 of time.
  • Sit and/or walk up to 2/3 of time.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. up to 1/3 of time.
  • Moderate to very loud noise.
  • Frequently will be in a studio or at a live event with unforeseeable environments.
